Sunday Mornings — What To Expect

Sardinia Presbyterian Church is a warm and welcoming congregation, steeped in southern hospitality. We gather every Sunday morning to worship at 11:15 AM. The word of God is central to our worship - we hear the word read and preached, pray the word, sing the word, and see the word through sacraments (the Lord’s Supper and baptism). We would love to have you join us as we worship Christ together.

“…addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart…” (Eph. 5:19)

At Sardinia we love to offer praise to the Lord by way of music and song. Sardinia has a rich history enjoying the great hymns of the faith. We sing, most often, accompanied by organ and piano, placing a great emphasis on singing corporately.

“Let the little children come unto me...” (Matt. 19:14)

We love having children worship with us! We welcome the cries and coos of little ones, you and your family are always welcome in our service. We do offer a nursery for the duration of the service for infants through 3 years old.

We also welcome children Pre-K through 2nd grade to the front pew for a Children’s Message - right before the sermon. Children then have opportunity to join a teacher upstairs for a time of Children’s Church and may be promptly picked up in the classroom following the service.
