<image:title>What To Expect - “…addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart…” (Eph. 5:19)</image:title>
<image:caption>At Sardinia we love to offer praise to the Lord by way of music and song. Sardinia has a rich history enjoying the great hymns of the faith. We sing, most often, accompanied by organ and piano, placing a great emphasis on singing corporately.</image:caption>

<image:title>What To Expect - “Let the little children come unto me...” (Matt. 19:14)</image:title>
<image:caption>We love having children worship with us! We welcome the cries and coos of little ones, you and your family are always welcome in our service. We do offer a nursery for the duration of the service for infants through 3 years old. We also welcome children Pre-K through 2nd grade to the front pew for a Children’s Message - right before the sermon. Children then have opportunity to join a teacher upstairs for a time of Children’s Church and may be promptly picked up in the classroom following the service.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Pastor - Rev. Zachary Simmons</image:title>
<image:caption>Zach Simmons is originally from Sumter, SC where he came to faith in High School through the faithful ministry of family friends and a local PCA Church. He met his wife Megan at Winthrop University, where they both attended college. Zach began to feel a call to ministry as he worked in Rock Hill - serving at a local children’s home, as a youth intern at Ebenezer ARP, and at Rock Hill High School as a US History teacher. He has served various churches from South Carolina to Florida and graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2019. He was called as Sardinia Presbyterian Church’s Pastor and ordained in August of 2020. Zach and his wife Megan have been blessed with two girls, Ruth Ann and Mary Margaret. Zach has a zeal for worship and spending time with folks in the Word. He has a burden for families to grow in grace together as they are shaped by the means of grace. Zach enjoys being outside, a good TV show and board game, and barbecue.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Who We Are - Christ’s Church.</image:title>
<image:caption>Sardinia Presbyterian Church proclaims Christ who is the head of the Church. As a congregation of sinners saved by the grace of God alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone we seek to worship Jesus Christ and make him known.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Who We Are - Presbyterian</image:title>
<image:caption>This means that the local church, under the head of Jesus Christ, is guided and guarded by men set apart as Elders. Each Presbyterian congregation elects, trains, and ordains men as spiritual overseers of the local church. As Christ is the Great Shepherd he appoints under-shepherds (or Elders) to help tend to his flock. These local churches are united as one and relate to each other regionally and nationally by councils of Elders called Presbyteries and the General Assembly. Additionally we are governed by the PCA Book of Church Order.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Who We Are - Reformed.</image:title>
<image:caption>In its broad sense, this is a term that refers to a series of doctrines that were rediscovered and established during the Protestant Reformation of the sixteenth century. These include, but are not limited to: - A view of God’s sovereignty in all things, including salvation. - A simple form of worship which highlights the ordinary means of grace: the reading and preaching of the word, prayer, and sacraments. - An understanding that God primarily relates to His people by way of Covenant (or a bond) which is for believers and their children. - A whole-life view of worshipping and honoring God both corporately in Sunday worship and privately as we live and work in our homes and world.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Who We Are - Confessional.</image:title>
<image:caption>This means that, we at Sardinia Presbyterian Church, subscribe to and are governed by a series of documents that summarize the scriptures and are rooted in the historic Creeds. These documents are known as the Westminster Standards - they are not divine nor inspired, but nevertheless are very beneficial summaries of and guides to the scriptures written by godly men.</image:caption>
